About Me...
Hello, I am the Lizard Wizard, and my craft is in the design and creation of magical trinkets and artifacts!
.
My passion lies within tabletop role-playing and gaming environments of all kinds. I utilise three resin printers and one filament printer, which allows me an incredible amount of creative freedom when paired with my skillset in 3D design.

"Howl of Spring" 2/2 Wolf Token
This is one of two beta tests of a Wolf token, notably smaller than what went on to be developed of my tokens. Pictures do not do this one justice, as I got to experiment with colourless metallic / glitter pigment. It really helped round out the fantasy element, the magical element. This wolf has made it through the winter, and howls in triumph upon a jutting, icy cliff. Around her, spring is shaking off the snow, bursting forth almost to say “I am back, I am here.”
Four Seasons Eldraine Wolf
"War Wolf" 2/2 Wolf Token
Subject: 2/2 Wolf Token - Zendikar
This token is roughly 75% the size of the line I offer now, and that's because this is one of two of the first tokens I ever made - the other being Howl of Spring. Consider it a prototype. I always love to finish prototypes if possible. It showcased how much fun I have with adding props and crafting a story scene with the design.

Phyrexian Angel Token
Subject: Atraxa and Mirrodin, besieged
Unfortunately one of her hands was damaged, but otherwise I am very happy with how
the concept shook out. Sculpting the hexagon base in line with the official Magic: The Gathering artwork (right) proved an interesting challenge. Of course, the language of the text is Phyrexian: Angel - Flying, Vigilance 4/4
"Fossil" Dinosaur 3/3 Trample Token
"Fossil" Dinosaur 3/3 Trample Token
Inspired by Jurassic World hitting theatres! My favourite part of it is the ammonite fossil detailing around the edges.
Shrine Token
Subject: Shrine Token from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty
This one got snapped up quick! But can you blame them? When Neon Dynasty first came out, the Shrine token was difficult to find.
Shrine Token
I’m really satisfied with the way the petals and flowers melded with the grass, simulating living movement and the thought of a breeze carrying a kaleidoscope of colours fluttering around the stone structure. The scene has a quiet tranquility to it.
Dry-erase Dragon Token
I had a fun time with the “Copper Dragon & Treasure” theme, and had been wanting to make a dragon creature token for some time -- though being aware that there are a few different */* tokens in use. The solution, maybe? Dry-erase token. The Power/Toughness area has a glossy topcoat for ultimate deck flexibility, or even just keeping track of status effects.
“Chalice” Treasure Token
The first treasure token designed and completed! This is where it all started, down this rabbit hole. The “diamonds” studding the base are not flat-backed and glued onto the outer frame, instead the frame itself has holes all the way around that are the depth of the plastic gems, allowing me to superglue them in deep.
“Chalice” Treasure Token - Geode
This was a custom-done vibe for the winner of my Charity Auction listing of a Divining Top Lifecounter in 2022! My second ever commission, ordered when the first Chalice token went semi-viral in Magic: The Gathering Discords communities.
“Chalice” Treasure Token - Geode
“Chalice” Treasure Token - The Dagger
“The One Ring” Treasure Token
“The One Ring” Treasure Token
Subject: The One Ring, in the Elvish written language: Tengwar.
I jumped at the chance to implement Tengwar in the token’s frame, the script’s text matches what is engraved onto The Ring too. I’ve been in love with the franchise since I was little, and being able to open the Magic: The Gathering set, and following the legend of the $2,600,000 card.
"Ancient Copper Dragon's Hoard" Treasure Token
Subject: Ancient Copper Dragon, Borderless
As you may know, I’m a BIG D&D / Tabletop RPG fan, so when Wizards of the Coast did ANOTHER crossover with Magic: The Gathering and the D&D IP, I quickly looked for card spoilers to see what we’d be getting. The Ancient Copper Dragon, Borderless Foil was and still is the chase card of Commander Legends: Baldur’s Gate, and you’ll need a place to keep count of all those treasure tokens!
"Ancient Copper Dragon's Hoard" Treasure Token
"Ancient Copper Dragon's Hoard" Treasure Token - Golden
No two tokens will ever be the same.
I was commissioned to produce this boy but in full Midas mode.
Gems flood out of the slightly-opened
treasure chest. The dragon perches upon a mound of gold and lustrous pearls. More, more, more! Gilded is an
understatement.
"Ancient Gold Dragon's Hoard" Treasure Token
Subject: Hascon Media Promo Dragon Token (Gold)
What does treasure mean to you? To gold dragons, tomes and scrolls carried as much - if not more - value compared to your usual hoarded treasures. A lot of effort and detail went into this dragon’s hoard.
"Ancient Gold Dragon's Hoard" Treasure Token
“Victory in Marble” Treasure Token
We’ve all gone on those wikipedia deep dives, and this token was inspired by one such deep dive on the Winged Victory of Samothrace.

Full-Sized "Sensei's Divining Top" Lifecounter
Subject: Sensei’s Divining Top, Kamigawa
This life counter is my flagship design. I believe I went through five or six attempts at various material combinations and design elements. This image is of the first one I had ever made, 3D printed conventionally in PLA which made it light to handle. However, a printing side effect known as “ghosting” caused a lot of time spent finely sanding it all down as much as I could. Fidelity to the source material is my chief goal.
Full-Sized "Sensei's Divining Top" Lifecounter - Resin
Now we move onto the most polished iteration, with the heaviest filigree detailing to date. You can see how smooth the various rings are -- that’s all sanded by hand to receive the desired effect of buttery softness that presents itself as if it was made of gold and copper.
Half-sized "Sensei's Divining Top" Lifecounter
What if you don’t have room to lug around a bludgeoning weapon to FNM? Say less! With no loss of detail or fidelity to the source artwork, the 50% Top.
The Gitrog Monster
Subject: The Gitrog Monster
My first custom figure model, as a matter of fact! I had a lot of fun with the mud and vines, terrain is always a joy to get to mess around with. It is a solid and dense piece of resin, but minimal supports meant all I really had to contend with was trying to get it off the fricken build plate without launching it through my wall.

Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice
Subject: Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice
Another from the official Magic: The Gathering unpainted minis line. A little side project to warm up or just do a cheeky spot of painting. My hands shake sometimes, sorry about that.
Koma, Cosmos Serpent
Subject: Koma, Cosmos Serpent
Another from the official Magic: The Gathering unpainted minis line. This was extra challenging to do from an accuracy standpoint, due to varied depictions of Koma in cards. In the end, I opted for multiple layers of pearlescent pigment to represent the white scales and give movement in the piece as light hits it.
Koma, Cosmos Serpent
Wrenn & Seven
Subject: Wrenn & Seven
The model is from the official unpainted Magic: The Gathering line of minis and figures, but the leaves and thorny vines and undergrowth mix are added on by hand. I wanted to add more movement to the scene with the crawling and coiling vines at Wrenn’s control.
Sarulf, Realm Eater
Subject: Sarulf, Realm Eater
This model is actually an unpainted “mini” from Magic the Gathering’s unpainted minis line. It was the first Magic-related thing I painted back in 2021, and he sold for charity. Sarulf comes with a cosmic-inspired base, unglued to the model. Sarulf remains special to me.
Shivan Dragon
Subject: Shivan Dragon
This model is actually an unpainted Blue Dragon from Pathfinder’s Deep Cuts collection, with some cosmetic adjustments to further represent the iconic Shivan Dragon and its pose. Complete with starry background!
Shivan Dragon
Jeweled Lotus Lamp
Subject: Jeweled Lotus from Commander Legends
A design I’m still struggling to perfect, this lamp
was bought as a gift for the customer’s friend’s birthday. I am told they were ecstatic!
Black Lotus Lamp
Subject: Black Lotus
The most iconic card in cardgame history needs no introduction. I drew inspiration from the Duel Masters crossover, the way it has that central light. This piece is technically a sculpture upon a LED base.
Talisman of Hierarchy Paperweight
Subject: Talisman of Hierarchy - Modern Horizons
This was the very first thing I printed when I got my resin printer setup. I do not want to make this again because the triangles were painful to get so fine. It’s pretty solid piece of resin, too!
1/4th Scale”Dagger” of Feast and Famine
Subject: Kaladesh Masterpiece Sword of Feast and Famine
Oh you know I ABSOLUTELY did this as a proof of concept for the inevitable full-sized sword. It’s important that the vines on the end have wiring throughout them so you maintain the effect of the falling leaves at any angle.
p3K Imperial Seal
Subject: Imperial Seal from Portal: Three Kingdoms
The most challenging aspect of this idea was fidelity to the source material. There are no additional angles of this artwork, so to get anywhere I would constantly be rotating the 3D model to the angle shown in the card. The first print is the smaller one, the larger print was at request of a client who wanted a pedestal for his life spindown, and that is the one with the size comparison to the card.
Custom Imperial Seal Trophy
Subject: Imperial Seal from Portal: Three Kingdoms
I was commissioned to craft an Imperial Seal that would be awarded at a home tourney, and found the original size of the Seal was not sufficient to allow for clear lettering. 150% proved ample enough, and thus the detailing and weathering began.
High Elven Mage (7th Edition)
Alarielle the Everqueen, and her Maidenguard
It took me a bit over a year and a half to assemble the full set here, tracking down each piece from mixed lots on Ebay, but we finally got there. These are the metal minis from 1998, and require a different technique than the newer plastic models.
High Elven Archmage (7th Edition)
Frostheart Phoenix & Anointed of Asuryan Rider
Iridescent blues, purples and frosty glitter make up the
plumage of this Frostheart Phoenix.
Flamespyre Anointed of Asuryan
I acquired this guy in his unpainted but
already-assembled state from someone offloading
an old army they never got around to building.
He’s kind of just vibing on his own, as you technically
get two Anointeds per Phoenix -- one that can ride
the phoenix and one that’s standing on the ground.
Frostheart Anointed of Asuryan
Lion Chariot of Chrace
A hybrid of technique, old and new, in one piece. I started this unit as one of the first
minis I ever painted, but never got around to finishing it until recently. It is kind-of a kitbash in the sense that I’ve made aesthetic upgrades using discarded parts from the rest of the Lion Chariot kit.
